Mailing list members are users that have subscribed to a certain mailing list to receive periodic emails, including weekly newsletters. In case the mailing list manager that is used to manage the mailing list permits it, you can also authorize members manually, but in this case such emails may be regarded as unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Ordinarily, these members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking on a link in the emails they receive, or you, being the mailing list admin, can manually delete them if they ask for this or in case you decide that some of the members should not belong to the list anymore. Each member will view only their address in the "To" section of the email messages they get, but not the addresses of the remaining members of the mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Cloud Hosting

If you have a Linux cloud service with us and you create a mailing list, you will be able to manage the mailing list members effortlessly. You do not even have to access your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, as you can do everything via email from any place whatsoever. By sending out emails with given commands to majordomo@yourdomain.com, you will be able to gain access to an abundance of options offered by our popular Majordomo mailing list client. You can view a full list of all current mailing list members, or if needed – you can include/remove members. If you include a new email address, the user in question will be alerted and will need to verify that they want to be added to the list. Deleting a user is also exceptionally easy – you just need to send an email to the administrative address associated with the given mailing list.

Mailing List Members in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you get a semi-dedicated server from us and you create Internet mailing lists via the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you’ll be able to manage all your mailing list subscribers without difficulty. We provide one of the most popular mailing list clients called Majordomo. It will enable you to see all your subscribers, to approve new or to remove existing ones by sending an email to the mailing list’s admin email address, so you can manage everything without even signing in to your Control Panel. Of course, only you, being the mailing list administrator, will be able to do that. New mailing list subscribers will need to approve their subscription, so the email messages that you send will be legitimate and you will not have to bother about messages being reported as spam. We’ve also got a collection of instructional articles where you can find more info about how to administer the list.
