If you order a cloud hosting plan from us and if you take advantage of our email services, you’ll be able to set up anti-spam protection for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With no more than a few mouse clicks, you can choose between 5 separate protection levels. If you start getting spam, you can start with the lowest level and then gradually increase the level until you stop receiving spam. We make use of one of the best and most popular email filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header field and the body of every email message that you receive and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a specific email or allows it to enter your inbox. Hepsia will also allow you to create custom spam filters and either delete unwelcome messages or re-send them to a third-party address such as firstname.lastname@example.org where you can view them once again afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you take advantage of one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting service, you will not have to worry about junk messages clogging your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the famous SpamAssassin filter that we provide with every semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a few clicks and you can pick one of the five safety levels – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any moment if, for instance, authentic email messages get filtered, or if junk email messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered messages to be re-sent to a special mailbox like email@example.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to make certain that you haven’t missed out on a legitimate message.
